Xekel Magnetic Building Tiles

Lizzie at 28 months adores these Xekel  Magnetic Tiles and mostly insists we play and build together. As you can see from the picture above, one of our "contructions" was an attempt at a zoo and included using our collection of animals. Lizzie also likes stacking them to create a  pretend phone so she can speak to  Granny (not me, I'm Mémé).

There are one hundred pieces in this set made from durable, safe, non-toxic, food-grade ABS material  with a snowflake design and containing powerful magnets. The colours reflect light and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The leaflet which comes with it suggests things to build for different ages and it makes sense to start with these to a toddler gets the idea very quickly. And educational toy which has so many applications.

Great for promoting hand-eye coordination and inspiring creative play and a fun way to discuss what the shapes are and how they work together – triangles making a square for example. We also have a set of magnetic stick people which add another dimension to our play

The set comes with an ample and very useful storage bag.

These would make a perfect present – buy now while they are cheaper and give later.
