Suitable for children aged three upwards, Aliens Love Underpants playing at London's Dominion Theatre until 5 September, was a great success with Harriet aged five, writes Anne Coates.

This season's Proms 2 and 3 was Ten Pieces, which included live performances by pupils from various primary schools, designed to help children learn more about classical music. Harriet and Anne Coates went to the Saturday performance.

Presented by Olivier Award nominated Wizards Presents and starring Danyah Miller, I Believe In Unicorns opens at the Vaudeville Theatre in August, bringing this magical adaption of Michael Morpurgo’s book of the same name to life. After London the production goes on tour.

Pupils from four primary schools have been invited to take part in two Proms concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July, 2015, celebrating the first year of BBC Music’s classical music initiative Ten Pieces.
