As a reviewer, it's a privilege to receive books before publication. In many instances these are ARCs – advanced reading copies – which are often paperbacked copies available before the hardback is published. Sometimes we even receive a hardback copy!
However for many people hardcover copies of books are beyond their budget so it's great when the softcover version becomes available soon after.
This month two of my recent favourites are in paperback.
Michael Rosen is one of my author heroes. I love his writing from We're Going on a Bear Hunt through to his more personal and adult writing and broadcasting. Out of this world is a collection of "Poems to make you laugh, smile and think" – brilliantly illustrated by Ed Vere.
