Since Netflix introduced MGA Entertainment's Project Mc2 series and the fabulous dolls were created, Harriet and I have been huge fans. The dolls captured her imagination and she loves the experiments as well.
So we were excited to review Camryn's Tie Dye. The doll comes with three permanent colour markers and a pipette and, of course, Camryn's accessories including bracelet, comb and shoes.
Harriet was eager to start but first of all we had to work out what "rubbing alcohol" is – surgical spirit – and to buy some. We also bought a white t-shirt.
I encouraged Harriet to work out some designs on paper before she began. Then we placed some card inside the t-shirt to protect the back. Once the design was on the fabric, Harriet used the pipette to apply the surgical spirits which immediately created the tie-dye effect. Once the fabric was dry Harriet could admire her work properly and wear her creation.
