These HECCEI sunglasses are perfect for toddlers – a lightweight nylon frame which is ergonomically designed for small faces and which offers protection from the sun's glare while from both UVA and UVB rays – if they can be persuaded to wear them! They also come with a handy, attractive pouch to keep them in.
These cute sunglasses have a magic UV colour-changing frame – in sunlight the durable nylon frame transforms from blue to green, pink to purple, orange to red and grey to blue. The frame is made from sturdy, BPA-free nylon non-toxic and built to last which is just as well given that most toddlers enjoy throwing things out of their buggies.
Another problem is that some toddlers might prefer playing with their sunglasses rather than wearing them – Lizzie certainly falls into this category – but they do come with a detachable polyester strap to keep glasses securely in place.
Sunglasses are not an essential item especially as most toddlers will wear a sun hat with a wide brim, and although HECCEI mention that these are suitable for babies, infants under six months really should be kept out of direct sunlight.
We have the summer to look forward to, and Lizzie could well end up loving these sunglasses so I've given four hearts as they are well made and fit for purpose.
