The Oasis Foot Spa is a lovely idea which unfortunately didn't quite live up to its promise. It has toe-touch controls, acupressure, heat temperature maintenance plus pumice, cleansing brush and massage roller with integral storage. However a bit like the wine you loved and brought back from your holiday, the foot spa wasn't quite so appealing or effective at home.

The bubbles acutally take some time to get going and neither Libby or I really felt any "acupressure". The cleansing brush was quite difficult to direct  - although Libby thought this was the best of the three attachments.

I thought it was quite uncomfortable bending over to use the attachments and didn't think the pumice was very effective. I prefer Champneys Luxury Soft-Touch Smoothing Foot File  or the Ped Egg  to get rid of hard skin.

That said, immersing your feet in warm bubbling water for half an hour is a nice way to relax while wathcing a favourite TV programme when the kids have gone to bed.

The Oasis Foot Spa costs £59.99 from Champneys, Debenhams, Selfridges and House of Fraser.
