We love playing Monopoly and have various versions which we've reviewed. In fact we enjoy family games of all types. So I was interested to see this festive twist on one of the most well known board games. Christmas-Opoly is a game to celebrate the season for two to six players aged eight plus.
Choose your token from candy cane, toy train, teddy bear, reindeer, scrooge and a unique "lump of black coal" and advance to Go Ho, Ho, Ho. Follow the directions for traditional play or for a one hour game.
As you progress around the board you can buy your favourite Christmas properties and increase your rent by collecting Presents and trading them in for a Christmas tree... However beware of landing on the Bah Humbug sites – those cards will cost you money or you could end up in the Naughty corner missing three turns! Hope instead to land and draw the Holiday Cheer cards.
Christmas-Opoly has been well designed and thought out to engage players in a creative Christmas game for all the family.
