To say I'm
conservative (with a small c) about
fragrances is an understatement! One of my favourites is
L'Air du Temps which I bought on my first
exchange trip to France as a teenager...
However I was
intrigued by the concept behind
TOUS H20:
- Glass from the bottle is made from 25 per cent recycled material and is 100 per cent recyclable.
- All cardboard used in the packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
- Components of the fragrance are Ecocert certified
- Handling of fragrance and its packaging is carried out in the Special Employment Centre of the Arco Iris Foundation*
The
fragrance has
top notes of organic lemon and organic lavender,
heart notes of rose, jasmin and mandarin and for
base notes white amber and cedar. I found this an
excellent combination and love wearing
TOUS H20.
Even more impressive
TOUS has already
donated over £132,000 to
Intermon-Oxfam. The percentage
TOUS donates
per sale facilitates the allocation of
15 litres of drinking water (enough for ten days) to a
person living in a situation where
water is not easily accessible.
