The instructions make it clear that a second sachet, to dissolve the gel, must be added before the bath is drained. So having relaxed and enjoyed the bath, I emptied the second sachet in, expecting a miraculous dispersal of the beads, but there was very little change. Having left it for a bit, I found myself in a still very soupy bath, and it dawned on me that we could be heading for a plumbing nightmare of pipes clogged with the beads! The list of contents states the second sachet is common salt, so I tried adding quite a bit more. A couple of hours later, the bath contents had thinned a bit, so I decided to chance it and let the water out. Luckily it emptied without problem and all household drainage seems as normal!
Despite all this excitement, and my skin feeling wonderfully moisturised while in the bath, the affect wasn't retained after the bath. I can't really see any benefit of using this product, other than as a novelty, and it did liven-up an otherwise dull Sunday evening!

The rosemary essential oil in REVIVE was very pelasant and as someone who suffers from eczema in places I did find the bath relieved some itching. My skin did feel soft and moisturised afterwards but there was still salt on my body as I dried off and thought perhaps I should have showered afterwards.
The second sachet (of salt) didn't dissolve the gel particularly well but I didn't have any worries about emptying the bath. I prefer showers and I'm afraid this product didn't change my mind.
GelSPA Therapeutic Gel Bath comes in three versions: REVIVE, RELAX and SOOTHE (all £9.99) available from Boots.
