Grandma Vine’s products originated from a real-life grandmother’s home-made skin care preparations, then used by her granddaughter in her quest to help treat her own daughter’s eczema condition; hence the name.
Fortunately my eczema condition only usually erupts when I’m really stressed out but my daughter’s skin condition is more volatile. So it’s good to have a range of products that we can both use and enjoy.
Heavenly Feast Body Cream (£8.99/250ml)is really lovely to use. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling smooth and cared for. This is especially helpful for dry, irritated skin and contains rose, blackberry, sweet almond and apricot kernel oils. Even better it has no scent which might clash with any perfume you use.
The Instant Comfort Foot Balm (£4.99/100ml) contains peppermint, rosemary, lavender and sweet almond oils and refreshes and revitalises your feet.
Hands come in for a lot of abuse so a cream which is easily absorbed and quick to use is a real bonus. Grandma Vine’s Tender Loving Hand Cream (£5.49/100ml) fits the bill and contains the oils of calendula, juniper, lavender and wheatgerm (which has great healing properties).
The last product in this range, Natural Antiseptic Gel (£4.99/50ml and £8.99/100ml), is particularly suitable if your skin becomes very sensitive or you suffer from eczema or psoriasis. When applied it forms a protective covering.
Grandma Vine’s skin care range can be used on babies and young children and carries Vegan Society approval. Products use only ethically sourced natural ingredients, which are environmentally sustainable, and biodegradable. The range is not tested on animals or genetically modified, and is free from animal products, parabens, petrochemicals, colourings, and harsh preservatives.
