I have enjoyed using the Kate Logan products; I followed the instructions properly and therefore spent more time on my facial routine than I usually do – generally it’s a flick with cold water and a slathering of whatever cream was on offer!

The routine was using the Borage cleansing oil, followed by the Rose skin tonic, then cleaning my teeth during the suggested five minutes waiting time. After that it was a massage with Calm facial oil. I used the Borage and Calendula skin balm at other times when I felt I needed an extra boost.

I am not a huge fan of perfumed toiletries, so I was pleased the cleansing oil and balm were virtually scent free. The Rose tonic smells quite strong, even when diluted at 20 drops to a bowl of tepid water, though the scent does not linger. The facial oil is quite strongly scented – with Lavender Essential Oil – and I would have preferred something a bit blander. That being said, Kate Logan products got my vote for being handmade with natural ingredients, and my skin perhaps looks a little brighter and better than it did at the start.            Karen Trinder

When starting to use the Kate Logan products, I soon realised I was going to have to spend more time on my facial cleansing and toning than my usual 60 seconds wipe round with a well known high street product!

At first I thought the cleansing oil a little greasy and oily but only used a small amount and discovered it was easily absorbed into the skin, leaving my face and neck clean and refreshed. It also removed all traces of make-up effectively.

This was followed by the skin tonic, which had quite a strong but pleasant smell of apple cider vinegar which, when diluted in water and applied to the skin, left it feeling smooth and revitalised.

I then massaged a little facial oil into my neck and face, which made my skin feel soft and glowing. I was particularly impressed when I woke up in the morning that my under eye area was hardly at all puffy. As for the skin balm, I used this as a moisturiser, which provided a perfect smooth base for my foundation.                                        Julia Bairstow

I was really taken with the Borage cleansing oil – it removed eye make-up and mascara so effectively there wasn’t a hint of it left on my skin in the morning. As Karen and Julia have mentioned having to wait five minutes between the Rose skin tonic and applying the Calm facial oil meant having to rethink one's routine. I thought that the Oil would have been too sticky under foundation but was proved wrong!

The little tin of Skin balm was more difficult to use as I never seemed to get enough out at any one time. However I enjoyed using Kate Logan products bearing the legend “Handmade with Love”!                         Anne Coates
