Hi-5 launched in Australia 11 years ago and has gone on to enjoy world- wide acclaim as one of the top rating TV shows for two to six year olds.
Focusing on learning through play, music and dance, Hi-5 encourages movement and exercise, with upbeat songs, creative dances and learning segments designed to keep pre-schoolers on their feet and off the sofa with energetic activities.
Each week in five half hour shows, Hi-5 will focus on different themes, each of these centred on a specific area exploring language, logical thinking, music and visual concepts, as well as social skills. Each cast member leads a different show segment, with each segment focusing on important developmental learning concepts with the UK audience in mind.
Hi-5 will be aired on Cartoonito, Sky channel 619, Monday to Friday at 8am, 11am and 3pm from Monday 3 November 2008.
