I always loved my Sodastream and was really sad when I couldn't find replacement gas cylinders any more. So I was delighted to receive the news from Lakeland that a new version is available!
The Jet Drinksmaker looks cool and comes with two bottles. Fill to the required level with tap water, add the gas, then the concentrate of your choice. And voilà a sparkling drink.
If your kids all like different flavours you can add a small amount of the concentrate to each glass rather than make up a whole bottle.
The excellent thing about the fruit juice concentrates is that they are made from high levels of fruit concentrate, natural flavour, water and nothing else! So they're healthy too! Putting a sparkle in their drinks may encourage them to drink more water too.
Each 500ml bottle (£2.99) makes four litres (about 40p a litre) and they come in mixed berry, cherry, apple, summer fruits and orchard fruits. Normal mixers like tonic water are also available.
So no more carrying home various heavy bottles and cans from the supermarket - and you'll save space in the recycling bins!
