 Pippa,
aged three and a half, was really drawn to Francesca Chessa's beautiful illustrations
and wanted to "read" Library Lily to me immediately. Initially the title
character, Lily, is only interested in reading and adventures inside her book
but one day she meets Milly in the park and they discover the joy of sharing adventures
both outside and in books. As Pippa said, "I like Lily and Milly" and she is right that the book is a sweet story about friendship, hobbies shared with friends, literacy and adventures. The message and illustrations in Library Lily will bring a smile to you and your child's faces, a lovely book to read aloud with your pre-schooler and a colourful book which they will enjoy exploring alone.
