Keycamp offers free swimming lessons in five holiday parcs in France

publication date: Jan 7, 2009

To encourage confidence in water from the earliest possible age and to help families get even more enjoyment - and exercise! - from their holiday, leading self-catering operator Keycamp has teamed up with the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) to offer free Waterbabies swimming lessons for their younger guests.

The lessons - which follow the STA’s six-step programme - are available to children between three months and five years old. The programme offers a structured and supportive environment and creates a fun and positive experience for babies enjoying the pool for the first time.

Lessons will be available at five French parcs

  • Brittany - Chateau des Ormes in Dol, La Pointe St Gilles in Bénodet and L’Atlantique in Beg Meil
  • Dordogne - Saint Avit Loisirs at Le Bugue
  • Languedoc - Les Sablons at Portiragnes Plage

To make travelling with little ones even easier, Keycamp provides travel cots, highchairs, baby baths and potties free of charge, while buggies are available for hire in selected parcs

Also designed to keep the youngsters occupied is the Mini Fun Station club, which offer hours of free fun for children aged one to four.

Making a splash in Brittany with Keycamp
The perfect option for baby’s first holiday, L’Atlantique at Beg-Meil in Southern Brittany offers a safe and fun environment for little ones, while providing plenty to keep mum, dad and any older children happy too.

As well as swimming lessons, toddlers can also be entertained at the Mini Fun Station club, while elder brothers and sisters can get stuck into activities such as crazy golf, tennis, volleyball or attend Fun Station kids’ clubs.

The parc also offers direct access to the beach. Meanwhile, out and about there’s the vibrant town of Benodet and the pretty market village of Pont l’Abbé to explore.

Seven nights next May half-term for a family of two adults and up to four children staying in a Classic Midi mobile home will cost £467, including return Dover-Calais ferry crossings.  Alternative crossings are available at a supplement.
