Great British Tennis Weekend

Great British Tennis Weekend is the UK’s biggest ever public tennis event and offers free tennis for families of all ages and abilities, promoted by the Lawn Tennis Association..

Held over a series of three weekends, the first being 16 and 17 May, the campaign aims to inspire people to get on court and take part in a variety of activities. Players will be able to experience Cardio Tennis, Mini Tennis, coaching and much more – all for free – and it's great exercise.

Rackets and balls will be provided and absolutely anyone can get involved. Whether you’ve never picked up a racket before or are a seasoned regular – there is no excuse not to come down.

Last year, more than 1,000 venues across the country hosted an event with over 50,000 people playing tennis for free in all corners of Great Britain.

To find a venue and book for free visit the Lawn Tennis Association's website.

The Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) mission is to get more people playing tennis more often, and its role is to develop, promote and govern tennis in Britain.
