At
PWT we always like to support
charities by highlihgting their
activities and writing about them when we can. Ocassionally we get more "
hands on" and on Saturday many of our team helped to
raise funds for our
local church.
Like many
magazines and
websites, we get lots of "
goody bags" when we attend
events so we decided to to run a
toiletries tombola. Daughter
Olivia and I ran this and our
table was greatly enhanced by a
generous donation from some of our friends at
Brand PR.
Working with us,
Alex Bell also designed a
Christmas hook-a-duck (no water and the photo doesn't do it justice!) which was a
great attraction for the children and
Toby was a great
salesman!
Meanwhile,
Louise Pollard prepared lunches,
Harriet Elliot and
Sue O'Neill helped on stalls;
Julia Bairstow and
Sian Minett ran the raffle.
We're just waiting now to see
how much we raised – fingers crossed!
