Knowing how much their own daughters love wearing dresses but how they also want to climb trees and throw mud, best friends Lisa Swerling and Sofia Dyson put their creative minds together  to launch their very own collection pretty vintage inspired dresses that would allow their girls to look like children whilst running around and playing. They also pledged only to charge for their dresses what they themselves would be willing to pay.

Their unique and winning formula was simply one style of pinafore dress called "the runaway", available in dozens of stunning colours and prints but with only a handful of dresses made in each fabric. They never make more than 25 of the same print in any size, each and every dress is a special limited edition.

Their second design, the "pick-a-pocket"; similar to "the runaway" but with a requisite pocket – some big enough to store handfuls of very important pebbles, others so small you'd just squeeze in a woodlouse or two.

Like "the runaway" these pocketed-pinnies are made in the UK from 100 per cent cotton, making them super comfy and flexible for dancing, playing and general mischief making. Best of all they are machine washable, meaning they can be worn time and time again and even passed down to a lucky little sister!!

Following hot on the heels of their gorgeous spring collection, for summer 2010 seven fabulous new prints will be introduced; Fireflies, Butter Blue, Kitten Party, Orange Mush, Rodeo, Space Fruit and Swimming Sisters.
