celluliteWhether you call it "cellulite" or not, it is estimated that as many as 90 per cent of UK women have lumpy "orange peel" thighs that can look rather unattractive. No end of creams and potions are designed to help remove these fatty deposits, liquids and toxins and  more recently ranges of body-shaping underwear have come on to the market and we have tested some on Parenting Without Tears.

The Peachy Pink range comprising PeachyBody Pants, PeachyBody High Waisted Pants and PeachyBody Leggings "has a unique patented 3D wave weave knit which is designed to massage the skin whilst releasing its microencapsualted active natural ingredients such as peaches, green tea and coffee beans which work together with the wave weave knit to flush toxins from the body.

"Extensive clinical tests have been conducted on the patented technology by Dr Tamura of the Tokushima University in Japan in collaboration with the Technology Research Institute. The study found that the patented 3D wave weave knit shape wear helped women instantly lose between 1 to 3 inches, and help reduce body measurements and cellulite if worn for at least eight hours a day for 21 days. All participants also reported a smoother and firmer contour."

Peachy Pink PeachyBodyI was certainly happy to try them out although I don't have much cellulite but could do with a smoother and firmer contour! The first pair of PeachyBody Pants arrived without any packaging so I assumed hand washing. I wrung them out in a towel and hung them in the airing cupboard – something not every home has these days. One morning they were not dry enough to wear.

However another pair arrived compelte with box and instructions. They seemed amazingly small (size med) in comparison to the first pair and I wasn't sure I'd even get into them. However, surprisingly this pair of PeachyBody Pants was even more comfortable! They certainly give a smoother and firmer contour but don't particularly hold in the tummy area.

After 14 days wearing PeachyBody Pants I have noticed a distinct improvement in the lumpy thigh syndrome and that's only two-thirds of the way through the 21 day wearing schedule. The active ingredients last for 20 washes but the patented 3D wave weave knit continues working for the lifetime of the product.

I'd recommend PeachyBody Pants to anyone needing a kick start to shaping up in 2010.
