Tomy Jumbo JamboreeProduct description: It's party time whenever the Jumbo Jamboree rolls into town. This clever little elephant on wheels has an extra trick up his trunk. Pull him apart into seven pieces and you have an orchestra on your hands. His trunk is a trumpet, his matching ears rattle, and there are panpipes, a xylophone and more.

Jumbo's Jamboree from Tomy is an elephant of many parts and many talents. Colour match his seven parts together like a jigsaw puzzle, then take them apart ready to play a tune. Each is an instrument to shake, bang, rattle and blow! Encourage baby to crawl as you pull jumbo along to hear a jolly tune. Suitable from 12 months onwards.

My review: This is an interesting and colourful toy. It provides plenty of stimulation for the child’s mind both visually and auditory. My two-year-old loved the trunk saxophone as well as the mouth organ. She wasn’t keen on the xylophone or the drum but every child is different.

Once the toy is assembled it produces a musical jamboree as it’s pulled along the floor. The tail cleverly beats along to the drum. The toy itself is robust with no parts that could cause choking. Adult supervision is advised though especially as missing pieces can cause frustration when you want to put it back together.

This toy represents great value for money. It engages the child and is perfect for interactive play between parent and child too. Highly recommended.
