PGL Little CanadaMathilde and Rhiannon had a wonderful time at PGL's Little Canada Centre on the Isle of Wight. There were only four in a room for six so they had plenty of space. It was comfortable and clean and had an en suite shower room and loo. A problem with a tap was "sorted very quickly".

The activities on offer were wide and various with each session lasting one and a half hours, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. The girls tried everything from archery and dragon boating, to trapeze and quad-biking which sometimes left them rather tired for the evening activities!

Of course there are times when an activity might just not appeal and for Mathilde and Rhiannon this was canoe and kayaking. The asked not to do that and spent a very agreeable time on the beach.

"There were ten in our group," commented Rhiannon "and we made friends while we were there."

There was only one criticsm from Mathilde: "I think they need to update the kit list as we had to wear long sleeves and trousers for some activities and I didn't bring enough as it only said one long-sleeved T-shirt on the list."

Both sets of parents thought the escorted travel "very impressive". Some years ago now, my own daughter had two PGL activity holidays and at Parenting Without Tears we recommend them unreservedly. They are especially good for discounts and offers.
