No one, it seems,  leaves the house these days without a bottle of water. However with recent scares about the plastics used and the cost of buying bottled water, a greener and healthier alternative that repays the initial investment very quickly is the Mudpuppy.

I've been trying out the 350ml and 500ml sizes. The smaller version fits into my handbag quite neatly and the larger one is great for taking to my yoga class. They are not heavy so are suitable to pop into kids' schoolbags as well.

Made from stainless steel  #304, which is food hygiene approved and is widely adopted by the food and drinks industries for its sanitary, non-toxic properties, the Mudpuppy keeps the water cool and is easy to wash. The cap is replaceable and one size fits all the bottles - up to 1000ml for the very thirsty!

It also ticks the box for recycling - having been made from partially recycled sources, the Mudpuppy lasts longer and then can be completely recycled. And if you are wondering about the nomenclature, it was named after an aquatic creature that likes clean water and detests toxins!

The Mudpuppy comes in four sizes - and a range of five colours - and cost £7.49 to £11.49. For your nearest stockist call 0845 293 8355.
