From 1 to 31 August, a child aged 16 or under can see a fantastic selection of plays and shows in London for free when accompanied by a full paying adult. Two additional children can go at half price. Plus, there are no booking, postage or transaction fees to pay.

Kids Week is not just about the shows. Children can also take part in free activities organised by the shows as part of a Show & Activity Package, or attend one of the stand-alone events at an iconic London theatre.

Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryThere are shows for all age groups from The Gruffalo and The Tiger Who Came to Tea to The Best of Barmy Britain, The Secret Garden and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory plus the ageless The Mousetrap.

There are more plays and venues being added so it's worth checking out the site.

This is an excellent way to introduce children to the experience the joy of live theatre and see what happens behind the scenes at the National Theatre and The Globe.
