I Just get So... Angry by Timothy Bowden and Sandra BowdenI Just Get So... Angry is a book about a teenage boy – Andy _ and how he learns to manage his anger. I feel that the authors, Timothy Bowden and Sandra Bowden give good advice and the pictures help explain what he needs to do.

The book has also given a fair and accurate description of what teenagers feel and why some things trigger anger.

The advice is given by a sea eagle and I think this helps because it doesn't feel like an adult being patronising. However, I think if I Just Get So... Angry was given to a teenager they might feel they are being patronised or get annoyed so it would be better to give the book to an adult to help them help the teenager.

Also the pictures in this story don't show a lot of gender or race diversity. For example the girls only seem to stand around asking what's wrong ...

In conclusion the advice n this book is good and the authors seem to understand teenagers well.

I also read I Just Get So... Angry published by Exisle Publsihing and felt it was quite patronising. Iona is quite right to point out the gender stereotyping and the lack of racial diversity. I also didn't like the way it was all written in capital letters.
