Silliest Situations – Pesky Pirates

Frida got to try out one of the four puzzles from Gibson Games, Silliest Situations. We were sent the one called Pesky Pirates, and you can also choose from three others themes including Princesses, Dinosaurs and Horse Riding.   

What makes this puzzle different from other puzzles is that you get to identify silly situations within the puzzle (the picture on the box also gives you clues). There are over 100 pieces which means that a child who likes doing puzzles will find this more challenging. (I know I did!)

Frida especially enjoyed finding the silly situations and laughing over these. It gave us the opportunity to talk about “normal” situations compared to those that are a little extraordinary. This is a good activity for a parent or other adult to share with a child.
 
Compared to many puzzles I found the pieces of good quality and not likely to break or tear. Being  made from 100 per cent recycled card also makes it easier for smaller hands.

This would make an excellent gift for a child and I agree with the 5+ age rating on the box. I will keep this on my list of party gifts for children during the year.
