Fantasy in Nunhead

A multi-media, multi-sensory interactive installation on the theme of love, brought to life with digital technology, complete with vibrating floors, flirty hotlines, Twister, and a soundtrack of giggles. Heart n Soul is a leading creative arts company who believe in the talents and power of people with learning disabilities.

Go along on a Wednesday between 6.30pm and 9pm to enjoy live music or visit the piggy powder room to be beautified!

Fantasy High Street presents Adventures in Nunhead: Edible Garden Flower Garden & Apothecary Bar
Sat 16 August, 1pm to 11pm

A cul-de sac in Nunhead is transformed into a an edible miniature garden where audiences can pick and eat edible plants and flowers whilst enjoying a cocktail at a very special apothecary bar using fresh herbs grown from the garden installation. Take a tour of the installation and then enjoy a unique drink, or take a workshop in floral cuisine. Fantasy High Street is a company that partners with high street businesses and puts artists in to high street spaces. For this event, the first of a series called Adventures in Nunhead, they’re working with local florist AG Flowers.

Thinking big to address the lack of outdoor work for the under 5s, this dance-theatre "mini gig" is based on the work of early 20th century Russian surrealist poet and writer Daniil Kharm. Boris wants to write a new song – a song that has never existed before – but Sonya and Masha think there has been a song written about everything in the world ever. Three actor-musicians enlist the help of early years audiences and their families to write a new song, and perform an outdoor, theatrical mini-gig full of trombones, trumpets and saxophones.

Fantasy High Street presents Adventures in Nunhead: Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

Nunhead Saturday 30 August, 12  to 5pm

Children ages 4 and up can enjoy an interactive storytelling performance at this Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, complete with cakes. Fantasy High Street is a company that partners with high street businesses and puts artists in to high street spaces. For this event, the second of a series called Adventures in Nunhead, they’re working with Ayers Bakery in Nunhead.

A bike powered outdoor screening of the cult animated cycle caper The Triplets of Belleville (Belleville Rendezvouz) on Nunhead Green. Fantasy High Street is a company that partners with high street businesses and puts artists in to high street spaces. For this event, the third of a series called Adventures in Nunhead, they’re working with Rat Race Cycles in Nunhead.
