Eau Thermale Avene Water Spray is a therapeutic water spray, which is bottled in a sterile compartment directly connected to the spring.  It is known for its soothing and softening properties suitable for sensitive, allergic and irritated skin, as well as for conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.

The benefits of Eau Thermale Avene Water Spray are derived from its composition:

  • Bacteriologically pure
  • pH close to neutral
  • Low mineral content
  • Rich in silica
  • Contains trace elements such as iron, manganese, zinc and copper

Its soothing action makes it suitable for sunburn and razor burn and its comforting and refreshing action make it ideal to complete skin cleansing, as well as for use during outdoor activities.  It would also be ideal on a hot summer’s day, so as to feel cool and refreshed and especially whilst travelling.

Suffering from a mild form of psoriasis on the back of my neck stretching into the hairline and also around my right ear, I found Eau Thermale Avene Water Spray  relieved the sudden itching sensation.  It was also perfect to spray on the dry and scaly skin under my hair, where creams or gels are not really ideal to use.

The directions for use are:

  • spray onto the skin in a fine mist;
  • wait for a few seconds;
  • gently pat dry.

It is best to follow these instructions carefully, making sure to hold the container at least about 20cm away from the area to be sprayed, so as to create the fine mist, and not about 5cm away as I initially did,  resulting in the liquid dripping down the back of my neck!

Eau Thermale Avene Water Spray  is available from larger Boots stores, Farmacia, Garden Pharmacy, John Bell and Croyden and leading independant pharmacies.

Eau Thermale Avene Water Spray £3/50ml and £5.25/150ml.
