I have been a freelance writer/editor for more than 12 years, specialising in customer magazines such as those produced for for retailers, banks and car hire companies. One such magazine - Open Road, published for Hertz UK – was my ultimate dream project. The subject was luxury travel and so I could indulge my love of travel and get paid for it!
Having edited and written for a wide range of magazines and brochures on subjects as diverse as health, marketing, personal finance and parenting, I launched and, for several years, successfully produced Sunshine magazine, an independent parenting magazine for families living in Ealing, West London.
Other projects have included writing 28 craft and activity books for children and a book on the 100-year history of Harley-Davidson. Although, not being a driver, I still don't know my clutch from my carburettor!
I have written for Parenting Without Tears about Credit Unions, and Nicolites as well as reviews of books which might appeal to parents and look forward to contributing more articles.
