Happy Christmas, TwirlywoosElspeth and I have just been given the perfect selection of toddler Christmas presents from Harper Collins for review.

Happy Christmas, Twirlywoos is a great little board book about the Twirlywoos unpacking a mystery box and decorating the big red boat for Christmas.

PWT rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

Bing's Christmas WishBing's Christmas Wish is the perfect stocking filler, it starts at Christmas Eve with Bing and Flop hanging their stockings and wishing for snow the next day. When they wake they have full stockings, but no snow and Bing is very disappointed. When they meet up with the rest of the gang Sula suggests they make their own snow from bubbles which delights Bing. It's a great little book, and a brilliant idea to distract disappointed children when we inevitably don't get a white Christmas.

Bing's Noisy DayOur absolute favourite book so far though, is Bing's Noisy Day. It is the very sweet story of Bing and Flop following the sound of the ice cream van and all the noises they hear on the way. There are ten different sound buttons, and an illustration on each page so that older toddlers know which buttons to press and when. Elspeth has paid no attention to when the buttons fit in with the story and has been delighted to press all the buttons, all the time, her absolute favourite being a meaowing cat.
