Doctor Who: The Doctor Trap

Tabitha (ten) and James (eight) are great fans of the Doctor Who television series so were eager to listen to the audio CD of The Doctor Trap, particularly as they haven’t seen this episode.

Unfortunately they didn’t particularly enjoy this story. Tabitha felt that there was an over-emphasis on the central character (Sebastian) and she found the story hard to visualise so it failed to come alive for her. She felt that it wasn’t the most exciting of stories.

They have listened to some other Doctor Who audiobooks in the past and have enjoyed them immensely. However, given their response to The Doctor Trap I suspect that (for my children at least) their enjoyment of the audio CDs is enhanced by having seen the episode on television first.
